Last night the opposition activists hanged out a white-red-white flag on one of the high-rise buildings on Surganova Street. This action was date for the anniversary of the referendum of 1995 year, after which belarusian national symbolism was forbidden. Since then white-red-white flag, which became a symbol of the resistance, regularly appeared over the roofs of the houses, on transmission facilities, on chimney-stalks.

Actions for the protection of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church are continuing. On the 13 of May was hold the action of supporting the Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Youth activists hanged out on the bridge on Nyamiga Street a stretching with slogan: “Let defend Catholic Church on 16 of May at 19 o’clock”. The stretching was hanging on the bridge for about an hour till it was taken away by two policemen on duty.

The Protest Action against abolition of benefits was hold on the 10th of May. 30 Young men, students and pupils, went out to the Ministry Education Building which is situated on Sovetskaya Street near the Square of Independence. One of the participants of the picket said:

"Authorities have prepared a new surprise for Belarusian people. It is mostly for unprotected sections of population. For pensioners, students and pupils. We are deprived of benefits. The policy of authorities reduced our country to economic crisis.

On the 9th of May about 19 o’clock on the bridge across Zheleznodorognaya Street near the Institute of Culture young people hang a stretching with the slogan “Won fascism – will win lukascism!”

One of the participants of the action commented its realization: “Almost every belarusian has relatives in his family, who fought for the freedom of our country. Most of them at that time were younger than 20 years, but they made an invaluable contribution to general victory. Nowadays their grandsons and great-grandsons have come to take their place...

62 years ago fascist Germany signed the Act of capitulation. The war, which cost too much for Belarus, ended. Millions of our nationals became sacrifices of this war. The victory in this war influenced on the improvement of the building of new and free Europe. It has not been ended till the dictatorship rules in our country. But we remember the main components of Victory are people courage, national solidarity and aspiration to Freedom. We know that this quality of belarusians is the main pledge that the last European dictatorship will be destroyed. Congratulations with Victory Day!

A few banners calling to come to the action on March 25 appeared in Minsk in the end of February. The biggest one (10 meter lenth), was put up on a bridge on Maskowskaya street.
